This is a landscaping project we completed in Nempnett Thrubwell, featuring beautiful sleeper terraces. The job was a real challenge as all the excavation was done by hand. We cleared and reduced all the banks, and then installed the sleeper terraces to provide easy access and maintenance.
To complete the project, we filled the terraces with clean stone and added decorative gravel. We also installed a land drain to prevent flooding during high rains, leading to a soakaway in the lowest corner of the garden.
